Since 2008, Susan has run Family Tree Video (formerly Family Line Video) as a true labor of love, personally handling all aspects of Legacy Video production, from filming and editing to interviewing and research, treating each family’s stories and artifacts as though they were her own.
~ Susan’s Story ~
With a graduate degree in Human Services and Counseling, Susan discovered her passion helping families connect through their stories.
Her vision: to find a way to capture and preserve a family’s stories in a way that “speaks” to younger generations. Her solution: a Family Documentary or Family Legacy Video.
To turn her vision into reality, Susan learned to professionally film, edit and interview, launching Family Line Video in 2008. In 2021 she changed the name to Family Tree Video to more aptly describe the generational stories she captures.
Today, Susan continues to produce heirloom quality Legacy Videos, giving families a way to connect while preserving family stories and history for younger generations to know.
