Since 2008, Susan has run Family Tree Video (formerly Family Line Video) as a true labor of love, personally handling all aspects of Legacy Video production, from filming and editing to interviewing and research, treating each family’s stories and artifacts as though they were her own.
~ Susan’s Story ~
With a graduate degree in Human Services and Counseling, Susan discovered her passion helping families connect through their stories.
Her challenge, to find a way for families to capture and preserve their stories so they “speak” to younger generations. Her answer, to record family members in sensitively filmed interviews, sharing life stories, family history and life lessons in their own words. Woven together with family photos, this visually captivating Family Documentary or Legacy Video could be passed on for generations.
To turn her idea into reality, Susan learned to professionally film, edit and interview and in 2008 she launched Family Line Video In 2021 she changed the name to Family Tree Video to more aptly describe the generational stories she preserves.
Today, Susan continues to produce Legacy Videos, giving families a way to connect generations while preserving family stories and history.
