Since 2008, Susan has run Family Tree Video (formerly Family Line Video) as a true labor of love, personally handling all aspects of Legacy Video production, from filming and editing to interviewing and research, treating each family’s stories and artifacts as though they were her own.

With a graduate degree in Human Services and Counseling, Susan discovered her passion helping families connect through their stories.
The challenge, helping families preserve their stories in a format that would resonate with younger generations. The answer, to record family members sharing life stories and family history in filmed interviews. Woven together with family photos, this captivating Family Documentary or Legacy Video could be passed on for generations.
To turn her idea into reality, Susan studied professional filming, editing and interviewing, launching Family Line Video LLC in 2008. In 2021, Family Line Video became Family Tree Video LLC to more aptly describe the generational stories she preserves.
Today, Susan continues to produce heirloom quality Legacy Videos, giving families a way to connect generations while preserving their stories and history for years to come.
