Bring your Family History to life for younger generations to know by preserving your stories in a Family Legacy Video. Family Legacy Videos capture a family’s stories and history through filmed interviews with one or more family members. Skillfully edited together with family photos, this beautiful “moving portrait” is a modern-day heirloom your family will treasure for generations to come.
Legacy Videos are ideal to present at family reunions, every Thanksgiving or post to a family website. Best of all, they are easy to duplicate and share so every family member can have a copy of the movie to pass on.
Family Tree Video specializes in Legacy Videos, working solely with families to document their stories – real stories of real people. These captivating movies bring a family’s history to life in a way photos, journals and ancestry.com often struggles to do.
What is in a Legacy Video?
Legacy Videos are designed to a family’s needs. Below are just a few examples of what families choose to include in theirs:
- Some capture the stories shared by more older family members in order to bring the family history to life.
- Others keep the focus closer to the present by capturing a parent or grandparent sharing their life story and memories.
- Still others choose to document a special family event or experience – such as summers spent on a grandparent’s farm – and begin a tradition that will inspire others to do the same.
There is no right way to preserve a family’s history. That is why a Legacy Video offers such unique appeal.
